Usage Policy
Last updated: July 2, 2026. This policy sets out how LeadX may and may not be used. It supplements our Terms of Service.
Acceptable outreach
LeadX exists to help you reach real local businesses with a genuine offer. When you send messages through the platform, you are responsible for following the law that applies to you — including CAN-SPAM, the TCPA, CASL, GDPR, and any local anti-spam regulation. In practice that means a few simple things.
- Identify yourself honestly and describe your offer truthfully — no deceptive subject lines or sender names
- Do not harass, threaten, or repeatedly contact an owner who has told you to stop
- Always honor opt-out and unsubscribe requests promptly, and keep those contacts out of future runs
- Only contact businesses about services you can actually deliver
Lead data
The business data LeadX surfaces — names, addresses, phone numbers, and website status — is provided so that you can run your own outreach. It is licensed to your account for that purpose only. You may not resell, license, publish, or otherwise redistribute lead data to third parties, and you may not build a competing directory or data product out of it. Treat the data with the same care you would want applied to your own business listing.
AI-generated sites
Builder generates websites automatically, but you are responsible for anything you publish or send under your name. Before you pitch a site, make sure its content is accurate, lawful, and appropriate for the business it represents — do not use it to publish misleading claims, infringe someone's trademark, or impersonate a brand. If a business owner asks to have a generated site taken down, LeadX will remove it on request, and you agree not to re-publish a site for an owner who has declined it.
Fair use
Build and lead quotas are set per plan and are meant for normal, hands-on use by a single account. Do not script, scrape, or automate the platform to exceed those limits, run parallel accounts to multiply quota, or otherwise place an unreasonable load on our infrastructure or the third-party APIs LeadX depends on. If you need more capacity, upgrade your plan rather than working around it.
Enforcement
Accounts that abuse the service — through unlawful outreach, redistribution of lead data, misuse of generated sites, or attempts to bypass quotas — may be warned, rate-limited, or suspended, and in serious cases terminated without refund. We try to reach out before acting, but we may act immediately where there is a risk of legal exposure or harm to other users. Questions about this policy can go to support@leadx.dev.
